JOINING BETA ALPHA PSI
To join Beta Alpha Psi, make sure you meet the requirements listed below, fill out the registration form, submit your DARS report, and pay the membership dues. You will then be added to our Canvas group, which will appear in the U of U class section of CIS. All emails and notifications will come through Canvas, so be sure to check the announcements page frequently. STEP 1: READ MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Members/Candidates
Affiliates
- Major in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, MAcc, or MBA
- Undergraduate: Cumulative GPA and Major GPA of 3.3 or above, upper division status in School of Business
- Pay Membership Dues
- Candidate $100/academic year
- Returning Member $50/academic year*
- Meet additional participation requirements. See the Membership Packet.
Affiliates
- Must be enrolled in a 2000/3000 level class in the Accounting, Finance, or IS major
- Pay Membership Dues.
- Affiliate $25/semester

STEP 3: SUBMIT "Degree Audit Report" FROM CIS PAGE
Send an electronic copy of your Degree Audit Report to our faculty advisors:
You may also provide a printed copy for verification of GPA and major.
STEP 4: PAY MEMBERSHIP DUES
We prefer that you pay dues using the Venmo link below. For questions, please contact the Beta Alpha Psi Treasurer (Ammon Sumsion). Member dues help support our local chapter and the international Beta Alpha Psi organization.
